Hi,

Was wondering if anyone had experiences with Cloud antivirus thus far? Basically, I'd like to know if it is lighter/equal to avira free in terms of ressources and protection.

Antivirus are very hard to "test" or "review", which is why I ask for those who tried it and had a feel for it, maybe had it on clients machines.

My philosophy has always been that the antivirus will only protect you from the basic stuff, the rest is all user practices. More often than not, I find that whatever got into the client's PC would have gotten in no matter the security software which is why I value ressources use before anything else.

Then again, NOD32 was very light, but was absolute cr*p at everything else, especially the basic stuff.

So, any words on Cloud?

Thanks.

I also would like to know anyone's experiences. I have been using it in a Virtual Machine a little bit but I havent really tested it too much to see what it can really do.

Well, I seem to be having some trouble with Personal Antivirus being detected by really anything. Guess I have a special version I found the other day.

The virus scanner did ask me to block something, forgot what it was, but it basically had an essay on the subject about how it exploits a bug in IE that was discovered four scores and seven years ago. Happened when I brought of the order form for PAV.

I see no real difference with it so far, but then again, a lot of other virus scanners can't get this virus I have either.

Good questions, I have read a lot of good reviews for it, but have not tried it yet. I will be testing it in the next few days and will give a review.

hehehe, decent review on cnet, you're funny :)

Seriously though, I'm looking for computer technicians feedback, since websites are pointless in this area. I've set it up with certain clients, will see their feedback.
