Newer computers or laptops from HP, Dell, Compaq, Acer, install Microsoft Office 2007 trial version valid for 60 days. After 60 days trial period, you have to either buy the full license or you can’t continue using it. Trying to uninstall you get the error “Setup error - The language of this installation package is not supported by your system.” This tools removes it without having to hunt down the registry keys and files.

I wonder if RegScanner from NirSoft would be the way to go to remove the registry entries semi-automatically.

Thank you! Removing those pre-installed programs can be a pain. I had no idea this existed.

Does this tool remove the hidden "MSOCache" folder, too? (the disk cache that MSoffice writes on your HD to save you time if you want more components using "only" 1.2 GB of space...)
Or can I simply delete it manually after?

I agree with you totally. I also used PCDecrapifier on a computer and it removed Office 2007 trialware with no problem.
