Is there a program, similar to Dial-A-Fix, but that works in Vusta that restores restrictive policies.

I'm aware of one called RRT, but that has to be the most irritating site and obtrusive "limited" version software I've ever seen.

Thanks.....

I am not sure if this helps. This saved me time to viruses disable the registry and a bunch of other stuff. It says it works on Vista but I havent tried it yet. It works miracles in XP. Its called disk heal which I have added to my PC Repair Kit.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was getting real excited (hey, I'm old and excite easily) until I read:

"Vista compatibility is limited to a few features. A future build is currently being developed for full Vista compatibility."

(After fighting with this lame excuse for an OS this week - e.g. Google "Local Only Vista" you'll get 7.5 MILLION hits -I hope someone writes one of those "I love Vista" posts. I'm loaded for bear!!!)

Anyway, it looks like a great tool to add for XP.

Thanks again!

Steve,

How about this one. I've had to use this and it works for many OS's. Billy Gates was kind enough to give you the option of you manually fixing it or using a tool they made.

Hopefully this one works.
