Flash Disinfector

Flash Disinfector is a tiny yet very usefull tool for getting rid of trojans lurking in the boot sector of USB drives. Runs from your desktop, requests you plug in your USB device and within 20 seconds or so it is clean as new.

Many of the popular AV products well read Flash Detector as a virus and try to quarantine after it downloads or try to prevent the download all together. Apparently it has a signature that is very similar that of a worm/generic.480 patern

Before telling your AV that all is well and to ignore the file.....make sure you are downloading from a reputable source.
