First day with Ubuntu

I just installed Wine hoping crossloop would work through it but I cant figure out what to do.. Any assistance is appreciated.. Thanks

ok i got it installed but opening it thru Wine. Any one have any tips/advice for a new ubuntu user? thanks

Im trying to install my network printer on this. I have the linux drivres for it but after it extracts and installs, theres still no printer in the dialogue box...
