My daughters power supply went down a few days ago, and when I replaced it windows did not want to boot up. I used the startup disks for xp pro and chose R at the end (recovery console). Now windows will boot up but the taskbar will not show, I wished it was just hiding but I have already tryed that. Someone on-line said to take out the registry line starting with StuckRects or StuckRects2 I did that and the line keeps reappearing in my registry. Someone else asked me to find out if explorer.exe was running in my task manager; it is! I am a geek myself but this one has me puzzled, any help would be appreciated.
