1st post here - so be gentle :D
I'm not even 100% sure I'm in the right forum section - but I'm sure someone will tell me if not :p
I'm trying to get Netgear VPN hardware working with their software. Easy, you should think - but no! I've been through two different FVS114 routers, and now have an FVS318v3 on my desk - about to be chucked out of the window. I've tried just about every tech support option they have - with limited success. I have a TCP/IP tunnel working fine - and can now even ping inside the network. BUT I cannot get netbios services working at all. No file shares, no printing - not even name resolution (this is a known bug!).
Has anyone any experience of this kit? Is it just me - do they work for everybody else?? Or should I just RMA it and plump for a nice Cisco PIX???
