Im having an issue. At my job they have a weird enterprise version of Mcaffee that is set on calling CCleaner, Easy Cleaner, and a few other repair programs viruses. Whenever I put my flash drive into a computer to do some repair work about 5 of my essential repair programs get deleted by Mcaffee. Is their a way I can disable the deleting of files from my Flash Drive? I know they arn't viruses because it's the new Computer Repair Utility Kit from technibble that im using. I've tried scanning the flash drive with multiple other virus scanners, but this Mcaffee Enterprise is the only one calling these files viruses.
Note: Editing the virus protection software is out of the question.

Try renaming the exe files to something else. I've come across this problem before and that seemed to sort it.

If that doesn't work, maybe try padding null characters onto the end of the file?
get a memorykey that can be write protected or use an sd card they can be write protected.
especially if you don't want to get confiquer or whatever the usb virus is called

McAfee is the worst when plugging your flash drive into a computer for the first time. On more than one occasion I've had it delete multiple things without asking first. I started using a CD-R that had a copy of my flash drive on it.
With confliker being so popular I decided it was finally time to get a write-protect flash drive. At least now I won't have to use a disk every time I make a big change to the flash drive.

Thanks for the tip, never thought of A/V software automatically deleteing stuff on my flash drive without asking. I might make a copy on CD for cases like this, cheers for the heads up.
