USB Activity Monitor

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of any freeware programs that can monitor usb activity and tell you if a program is trying to write to the usb flash drive? Would be great if it could also prevent access until granted.
Everything I can find you have to pay for, which I may just do if I cant get any good freeware.

you can use diskmon to see what is being written where. I believe you can assign filters to only show you stuff being written to a certain drive. As far as a firewall type program, I do not know of one...

I have a piece of software on my flash drive called "USB WriteProtector". I've never used it before, but it's worth a shot.
