I am interested in Starting a non profit organization for a computer repair program. I need to know about how much seed capital would you say i would need? I havent the slightest clue and would prefer only professionals with a current repair business to answer this question, It is pertinent that this question is answered soon?

This is a bit of an open ended question as it depends how full on you want to start. Some people consider a startup as getting a few benches, some tools, some computers, accounting software and running it out of their spare room.

Other people startup with renting a shop (and all of its overheads such as rent, power, gas etc..), hiring a bunch of employees etc.

You will need to think about how full on you want to start and talk to your accountant about this one. Also, by talking to your accountant you may be able to get some nice tax breaks being a non-profit organisation.

A good rule in any business is to have twice as much funds available as you think it is going to take, because it nearly always costs more than you thought it was going to be.
