Keeping up

is there a need to keep up the version of my design application..i brought photoshop cs a while ago and later it came up cs2..i know a lot of features is added but shld i wait until 1 more release?

I always keep dreamweaver and photoshop up-to-date because I use them so much (every day they are open for almost the whole day) if you only use it occasionally then dont bother, if you use it all the time then go for the upgrade
