How to totally remove norton?

Hey all, recently had some trouble with the **** heap known as norton, as its uninstalled, used the norton removal software and still cannont install McAffee as it tells me that Norton Rescue Disc is still installed, but where I cant find. Any help??

This isnt on my pc either, as I wouldnt of been stupid enough to of installed Norton to begin with.
