Hi there, as a business owner i have my own website where i usually post info. i noticed that all my customer always ask me for free antivirus software. i simply give them a url for avg, clamwin, etc but it looks like they dont know how to download or get lost in the website. what i wanted to do is to create a section in my website dedicate to free software so customer can download when they ask me. is it legal to post those free software in my website so customer can download?

I don't think it would be illegal, seeing as you're not making money from it. It might be best to include a link to the AVG download on the AVG site, rather than host it on your own.

I would give them a direct download link from AVG or from Downloads.com. The latter is a good one because you can teach them of only downloading from trusted sources like Download.com.
