Unknown CD Drive appeared

I have a new CD drive appear in my list of drives that has "Imageviewer.exe" as a file loaded on the drive, I presume it is a virtual drive. I did not load this drive that I know of but did get a message for me to reboot after installation of new hardware. Any ideas where it came from and how to get rid of it, tried Spybot, add & remove & unclean but nothing shows. Your help would be appreciated.

Did you install new hardware? A USB device, perhaps? If you unplug said USB device, does the CD drive go away?

hi,
it may be a new device that was installed or used probably a digital photo album such as "walletpix". that uses a virtual drive to connect to the computer like some usb memory key's do.

Thankyou to everybody I feel such a fool I plugged in a USB powered wrist watch that also has pictures on it and I had forgotten to unplub it when it was charged. So again thankyou and everybody have a great 2009.
