I can only see this working beneficially if you have a very full hard drive without enough virtual memory space or your drive is heavily fragmented. It's just a caching gimmick. Now when we all have usb 3.0................ this could get interesting.

It can work well for people with an older PC and maybe they already maxed out the desktops RAM at say 1-2GB and it looks like you actually only need 230MB free.

I thought of the older desktop idea too but the problem with that is that it probably only has usb 1.0 or 1.1 on it if it's that old.

I can see a PC with a 2GB cap that would have USB2 hell I don't even think they make drivers for Vista for PCs built on a USB 1.x spec. I also can see this being good for a laptop as well.
