This is why they need to make laptops big and heavy, then nobody would want to steal them.

This kind of data shouldnt even be on laptops. They should be on servers in secure locations. At bare minimum the laptops shouldnt be left in a car and if you must leave it unattended, it should be locked down.

According to the FBI, laptop theft is the second most common computer crime and less than 2 percent of those stolen laptops are ever recovered. Four in five (81%) of US firms have had at least one laptop stolen containing sensitive information according to a recent study.
