Hello
Microsoft malicious software removal tool (mrs) which is a part of windows update (and is updated every month) says it removed over 1 million copies of anitspyware 2008/2009
Security Now (http://twit.tv/sn172) the great podcast on www.twit.com reports it
I have not had any chance to validate it, I just herd it but this could be one tool from Microsoft that might actually work (keep your fingers crossed)
