Out of sheer laziness, I would like to buy an IP based KVM switch to control a clients computer in my office, from my bedroom. VNC works well, but I have to install it on every machine I get for it to work. Single click VNC is ok, but if it crashes or something closes the connection (installing kaspersky always does this), then I have to get off my arse and trek all the way to the other room to load up single click vnc again.
An Hardware/IP based switch would sort all of these issues aswell as allowing me BIOS level access to each machine. Plus I have two bigger monitors and music in my bedroom which makes working alot easier/more enjoyable.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Ideally, I'd like it to be 4 port or more.
