Mobo swap - Removing old driver associations

Did a motherboard swap (same socket -- different model) and fortunately it booted up w/out a reinstall of xp.

Is there a tool that can remove the previous(invalid) driver associations so they aren't loaded with this new board? Will CCleaner find these? Actual files aren't really an issue as drive space isn't an issue.

the way i do it is i enable devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices in the environmental variables , then goto show hidden hardware in device manager and im able to remove all of the old devices in there.

Driver genius will uninstall all drivers or all drivers that do not belong to that current system.
