PSU light turns off

Have a desktop that won't turn on at all. No fans or anything, so I thought motherboard. Then I saw the PSU light would blink so I looked it up for this specific model and it said bad PSU. Changed the PSU and when I plug it up I get a solid green light but when I press the power button the green light on the PSU goes out and doesn't come back on til I unplug it and plug it back in. Tried to search Google but I guess I just wasn't using the right keywords cause I didn't get anything related to my problem lol.

Is the power supply new? Do you have a power supply tester?

Its not new. I don't have a tester but I was gonna put it in another to test it. I'm not at home right now to try so I thought I'd see what you guys think. Thanks for the reply

I always test with a psu tester and a good psu just in case.
