More information please, by being in safe mode are you saying that when SmitFraudFix goes to clean the registry it gets access denied or something?

You need to have adminstrator access when doing this recovery.
Also, did you do it in safe mode? Next time you go into safe mode you should have the option to logon as Administrator, choose that instead of your usual logon and try it again.

H E L P HELP HELP!!!!!!!!! Ive downloaded the 'smitfix' zip folder to my desktop, but when i go into safe mode (as administrator) it isn't there and I can't find it anywhere else. I know I can possibly buy the software to remove it - and all the other infections I've since found :-( but theres NO WAY I'm putting my card details through an infected pc. CAn someone PLZ tell me where I'm going wrong. Also I'mgetting reports of infection in C:WINDOWS\system32 but this particular folder seems to have become invisible. I know where it SHOULD be, but it aint there (and its not hidden!)

Move the unpacked smitfix folder to C:\ and restart into safe mode, then run it. After it did its work, run an antivirus to clean up the mess, then anything decent anti-spyware to clean up the traces. The system32 is invisible because you haven't set the option to see hidden files. You'll need to specify your OS for us to tell you.

I can see what happened to Darron. He saved it to his desktop under his user account (eg. Darron). Logged in as Administrator in safemode (rather than Darron) and was show the admin desktop rather than the Darron user account desktop. I have changed the article to tell them to save it to C:\ instead to prevent this confusion occuring again.

Thanx for that, it worked a treat, w32.myzor now destroyed. But, regarding system32 files- I do have option set to see hidden files but still no sign of system32. I am running Windows XP home, sp1 (I think?). One last question, every now and again, when typing (as in now) some of my keystrokes do not register -ie I get typed chracters missng (not bad typing), is this something to be concerned about?

The system32 folder is located in your Windows folder, usually "c:\windows\system32".
You need "Show Hidden Files and Folders" switched ON and "Hide Protected operating system files" OFF in order to see it.

If you want to jump straight to that folder you can always do:

Start > Run and type in "c:\windows\system32" (no quotation marks)

As for the keyboard, try swapping it with another one (from another computer or something) and see if that has the same issues. If it doesnt then your keyboard has been damaged (probably by spilt drink). If it does the same thing it is going to be a problem with Windows. But that is for another thread. :)

SysSecuritySite.com or W32.Myzor.FK@yf is a new rouge anti-spyware program . When it is installed it hijacks your homepage and creates fake popup messages warning you of a W32.Myzor.FK@yf virus. This infection is designed to fool users into paying for a commercial version of the program. Here are the removal instructions for SysSecuritySite/W32.Myzor.fk.

Just to tell all who r reading this thread that the information really works!

I spent almost 1 month to search for this kind of solution and getting kinda frustrated. Even those so call antivirus cum malware manufacturers can't even gimme a solution. The moment I try this info, Voila~! The thing is removed and I dun even need to reformat all my files~~!!! (TuT) Thanks a lot~!!!. :p :D

P/S:  Beware of downloading any free antivirus ware from the internet as along the way of searching a solution to my prob, I ended up having more viruses which my antivirus software (bought from a computer exhibition)was Luckily able to remove.
