System recovery options

Hi,

I want to be able to provide a recovery disc/partition for new built PC's, same as you would find on any new computer. So if they have any problems they can use this option to get going again.

Does anyone do this and if so what/how?

The biggest problem you'll have is doing this legally. Most of the software that makes this possible e.g Ghost, Partion Magic etc. is licenced on per user basis meaning you'd have to buy a copy for each system. Not really ideal. There are a number of partition imaging tools here http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/backupandimage.shtml that might be of some use.

http://www.softthinks.com/US/. Same thing HP uses. Cannot say enough good things about it. Kinda high stsrt-up costs, low per machine license though... like as low as $15 ea I believe.
