Normally it is 5GB free I guess.. Seems like a pretty OK deal.

A pretty OK deal? It's free storage, and plenty of it. I love it.

I signed up. Looking for an alternative to Dropbox because of the limit of 2B for free. I do have an FTP server, but my upload speed is horrible. Hopefully I can get decent download speeds on this. I will let you know.

I will let you know. You get 250MB for every referral which, in our line, can add up fast. That can get you up to 8GB right there. I took advantage of a bunch of little offers and am now showing 9.8GB as my limit.

While this offer is nothing to sneeze at, the fact that some of my other services can link into my Dropbox is pretty darn handy. Plus my ipad app for even more convenience.

I believe this is the route I will take. I tried Pogoplug and had some issues. One was the modified or upload date or whatever it shows was 1970. I wasn't even born yet. I uploaded about 185 MB's worth of files and then tried to download and it was very slow 1.5-5 Kb\s although it did zip the files it was useless because it only showed as 100KB worth of data. And I wasn't able to open any of the files. I was getting CRC errors when I tried to open them.
