I had a computer come into my store with the Diagnostic Policy Services disabled and all other internet items completely disabled. He said that the internet connection just went out. The only thing that lead me to think it might be user error/virus is that there was a PPOE tunnel set up with a broadband connection instead of a network adapter. <<<<----Trust me I have no idea. I suspect I have to just wipe the system but I wan't to know if there was an easier fix or if someone else has seen this. I have troubleshot this thing for about 3 hours with no avail.
