Hey everyone, I need a screen assembly for a mackbook air a1369.

I need something reasonable from a known seller. Apple wants $800 for a screen for an $800 computer.

Do you actually need the whole assembly, or just the glass and/or lcd?

No luck there.

It has to be the whole assembly. Its all one piece. The metal frame that is normally around the LCD actually is the display back plate. Its another example of Apple with there cheap proprietary BS. They want $800 for a screen for a computer you can buy used for $800. Its ridicules.

Chances are if we can't find something reasonable we are going to use an external monitor adapter and wireless keyboard and mouse and turn it in to a desktop.

Oh, ok. I know a lot of people think that about the unibody Macbooks and don't realize that you can take the front glass off....but I haven't replaced a screen on a macbook air (actually, I've only ever worked on one...)

This ones newer then that.

I pulled the bezel off and the screen glass is literally glued in.

Imagine if you actually took an LCD apart. Do you know how It comes apart in layers.
