Update causing BSOD

A customer just dropped off a PC. Says she installed her usual updates last night. Now it's in a BSOD boot loop. Can't get into safe mode. "Last Known Good" does nothing.

I could just do a repair install but it would be even nicer if I could somehow ID and remove the offending update, get the machine running and ensure that the particular update is ignored from now on.

I believe in miracles...;)

This was caused by SP3. Its a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P P5GD1-FM

hello there
If you are able to boot from a CD, i recommend you use the ultimate boot CD for win. There you can log into a windows environment and then uninstall the service pack 3. Hope this helps any. your CPU friend
