I have a customer with a WD Mybook Live external hard drive. The ethernet port on it has gone out and he can't access his data. The hard drive can't be accessed by windows hooking it up with USB adapters since it is not an NTFS drive.

I booted a computer up with and Ubuntu cd and can see the drive with GPARTED. Does anyone know how to access this drive? It looks like it is a RAID configuration.

Thanks,

Try a recovery program the supports Raid,
If its raid 1 you should still be able to see the files

File recovery by active has worked for me in the past with raid 0.

It's a single drive, right? That's not a raid configuration. It's probably formatted ext4
