ok so after using joomla 1.6 and deciding i didnt like any themes for it iv gone with wordpress for a change. im using the platform theme for now as its clean and simple. i wanting to make is just a one column website. Its currently set as 2 column but i know how to change it back.
Anyway i need some quick help, been trying to figure it out for the last hour and half to no luck.
I want my menu system along the top where the home button is.
So basically Home Services About Us Repair Tracker Shop etc
how do i go about this.
Also im wanting to link a couple of the menu items up to an external link so to speak so the Repair Tracker will take the customer to www.pdcomputing.co.uk/pcrt and the shop button will take them to www.pdcomputing.co.uk/shop
hope this akes sense.

Appearance - Menus - Menu Name (enter name) - save menu

Theme Locations - Header Navigation (select the menu name you just entered)

Add pages by checking list on left (add to menu)

Save menu
