Hey everybody, its been awhile since I've posted but have ran into a problem and need your help.

I have a client that is running Windows XP. When they open My Documents folder, then My Pictures, My Music it opens up a Search Results window with the search dog figure on the left side like you would see when performing a search. It is only happening with the My Pictures, My Music folders. I have never ran into this and can't find anything on it with google. I thought maybe its spyware. I have ran Spybot, Ad-aware, AVG with no luck.

Any suggestions? Is this something easy that I'm missing? Have any of you come across this before?

Thanks,

Try running
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

14049752: That worked!! Can you explain what that has done and why the problem was happening?

Basically all that did is re-register how windows handles built in things like folders. Somehow the registry entry for those folders got messed up, that command took care of it.
