I suck at web design, I can easily spend a month on what some people can do in a week. Does anyone have any good wordpress designs for a repair website?

Im looking for a change, and have some good experience with wordpress, know my way around, just cant seem to find a good template.

Thanks

This is a site that will allow you to make your own theme

No cost as far as I can see. Granted, it's not as flashy as some of the pricey themes out there but maybe it can get you started then you could tweak it.

Themeforest and just grab one of the top sellers. You can't go wrong. I use BREEZE (http://themeforest.net/item/breeze-professional-corporate-and-portfolio-wp/full_screen_preview/118824), which I can highly recommend - it has a nice feature set and everything works well. But, yeah, there are plenty of good ones.

I'm not really interested in a blog, just a static site and I've spent the last hour or so wandering around ThemeForest not knowing what to buy, can you give any tips on what to look for? Is Breeze suitable for a static site?

Obviously, tell me to get lost if you feel that this impinges on your UTS - btw is it live yet or still in beta?

I used the template stealth from their site, and made it static for my site. Check it out.

Seeing as its germaine to the question, the Ultimate PC Repairs Business Website Kit is now available and brimming over with juicy SEO and Marketing goodies:

The Ultimate Techsite (http://theultimatetechsite.com/)

This is my product btw, so there could be some slight bias in how awesome I think it is, but it does come with a money back guarantee so if you dont think its awesome too, it costs nothing to look at :)

Elegant themes? Lots of good ones on there and the price, well, you can't beat.

cheers, handy to know, I'll have a go on my own, but may be tempted by the huge buckets of awesomeness when I start getting some money in :)

I'd definitely be interested in people's opinions of it

what's the podnutz connection btw?

Woothemes (http://www.woothemes.com/) is definitely worth checking out if you want a premium looking site without having to do much additional customization work.

Also, SmashingMagazine.com often their yearly free WordPress Theme roundup (http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/07/05/free-wordpress-themes-2011-edition/).

Hope those help...

Any wordpress theme would work for a static site.

Best of luck

Hi there, are you using http://themeforest.net/item/stealth-premium-html-theme-6-in-1/128581?

I really like that look and feel of that theme. Can you put a link to your website, so I can see what you did with it?

Thank you

I went with the Thesis Framework from DIY Themes (http://diythemes.com)....advantage is that it doesn't necessarily tie you down to a graphic designer's preconceived vision (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Unless you're aiming to become a WordPress site developer, go with the Personal Option.

I just purchased a WordPress theme from TemplateMonster.com. I signed up for an account with them and they e-mailed me a 50% off a template purchase coupon. So the $44 template cost me $22 out the door. Not bad.
