Do i need a anti adware program if i already have a anti- Spyware program?

Most programs will pick up both (such as adaware/spybot/ms antispyware) so you should be fine. However prevention is still the best option.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting the link to that article about how Spyware can infect your computer, I have a friend that uses Bearshare so I'll be sure to notify him about the stuff he has on his computer, that he probably does not realize.
