TechInline is a remote support application that runs in a browser. You just tell your client to go to techinline dot net and then it gives them a 6-digit ID number. You then go to the TechInline Expert page and type in their 6-digit ID number and then you are connected via chat. Just click another button to ask your client for remote control. They grant it and you are in.

It costs $30 a month and there is a free trial available. After using the trial with some of my friends and to help my brother troubleshoot his router remotely I was sold. It does everything via the web browser so the firewall never sees what is happening. The only thing I don't like about it is that it seems quite laggy. But I guess when you are working remotely that is expected.

Anybody else try TechInline and want to give any opinions on how it rates in the remote control world? I love it because it is very simple. The client just has to go to a website and tell you the 6-digit number that they see.

HolzsterLooks pretty good. I don't really like the fact that they have to download an .exe though. You have any complaints about it?
