Ummm hi :D I've bin having trouble with my internet connection after i put it back cause i was grounded >.< and now it keeps restarting every 30 to like 50 seconds D: so any help would really be appreciated :D
Oh an am using a Motorola surfboard SB4100 cable modem

You didn't mentioned which operating system you are using?Try to uninstall the hardware and reinstall once again.Check whether the hardware is compatible wit ur system.

I alredy tried reinstalling it and it still doesn't work.Um every time it restarts the default gateway's 'value' disappears and then almost everything else completely disappears from the network connection details and the ip[p address goes to 0.0.0.0 the only thing that stays the same is the physical address.
As for my operating system ummm what is that? >.<

I used to have one of these modems. Its was the standard issue modem for Optus and Telstra cable a few years back.
When you say "its restarting", do you mean the modem lights go off and it goes through its usual connection cycle? When you lose connectivity with the internet do the lights on the modem seem to be fine?
