Laptop Ribbon Cable

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an JI-HAW AWM E118077 2896 80c VW-1 14pin ribbon for a laptop. Its around 15mm in width and just under 90mm in length. Anyone got any spare or know where I can get one from? My Googling skills aren't bringing up the 14pin version of the cable.

When I needed a ribbon cable for a DV-6000, I went to zkarlo.com (http://www.zkarlo.com/).
They had the OEM for BIG money and a their own design for much cheaper.
I spoke to them on the phone and they were pleasant.
Shipping was fast and I am very pleased with their service and the product.
I don't know if they have your cable, but you might call and ask.

This would be a manufacturers part. They are not generic. If its a big cast such as Dell you may acquisition them listed on ebay, otherwise you will have to place a special order through a PC repair shop or from the manufacturer direct.

Are you able to get me the model, serial and part # of the laptop? does the cable to to the HD or Optical Drive, or both?
