Hello all,

I have a question.I have a new client that is running a public service announcement on the radio, now they call me and ask me to put that same public service announcement into an email attatchment so that it could also be emailed out. Is that possible? any help would be great.

Thank you.

can i get a little more detail?

Is this a one time public service announcement, or is a running one?

Is it a live announcement or a pre-recorded one?

You could do it in flash, on a website and email a url. Or you could do it in flash and hope that they have html enabled in their email reader and dont have content like that blocked.

Its not easy to get things like that through a lot of mailservers and clients these days. Most of it will get blocked or stripped out when viewed.

Thanks guys,

Chris, They will be recording the PSA I think, which should be easy enough to do.
Greggh, thats what I would be concerned with,

I do not know why they need to do an audio e-mail attatchment anyway, they could just send a normal e-mail with all the info and not worry about it being blocked.

Thanks again, Ill let you know what they decide.

how about converting it to a streaming audio file, then email out the main topic and key points with a link to their web based streaming audio file! Don't know if their is a budget on this... but if it sounds like a good idea, I would go with something like http://www.clipstreamaudio.com/ ... That way, it is java based and they don't have to worry about cross platform compatibility!
