Now that MAC OS is becoming more prominent, virus will become more and more common as well. Does anyone have any mac software they like to use to help keep these systems clean?

I don't know of any GPL programs but there are a few commercial ones. I have never used them but you may be able to download some trials.
Intego VirusBarrier
Symantec for Mac
Mcafee Virex
Hope this helps

Take a look at Cocktail. It is a maintenance utility that is supposed to clean up any of the current trojan horses on OSX.

Never had to deal with a virus all these years except deleting ones just sitting and doing nothing in downloads folder because they wouldn't install. Even if you do run into one on a Mac and you know you're way around well enough its just easy enough to delete it manually through finder. If that fails and you are comfortable enough with terminal or enabling root, one of those two methods would surely do it.
