This is our newest form of advertising ;)
Had about 1,500-2,000 people at the event. Advertised it for a few weeks on the radio with sponsors. Had a listing in the event handout, and the announcer said the name about a half dozen times.
Did it for one main reason "We really enjoy Mixed Martial Arts"...that was the bottom line in justifying the expense....

Only been a day or so. Gave out some cards that night when people came over to our table. I"m sure it's one of those things that you do not get instant response from, but will take awhile.

Hey, well my brother has got a hold of the promoter here in town for the cage fights. Have you by chance got any calls yet that you know of from this? Also what did you end up paying? The package they told us was around $750.00 which included logo and name on 20 thousand flyers, mention at the fight, 2 banners at the fight, a rind side table for 6 and 2 vip after show par tiks.
They also had a billboard being posted for an extra 250 you could get on t bt its too late for that now.

It would be hard to track how well this advertising went. Its one of those "brand awareness" things. If I need a computer techie, I look in the local paper abd there are 6 different local techies. But then I see Computer Medics:
"oh, I remember those guys"
*rings*
As far as cmonova can tell, it was his local ad in the paper that did the job, not the ring advertising. I guess the only way he could tell is to ask them?

Well I just wanted to post that my partner and I just got back from a meeting with the Promoter of the bigger cage fight here in town.
We thought it was going to turn out totally different then it did. It turns out they need a website and some computer support on their laptops.
They are sending the next upcoming promotion flyer's and marketing stuff out tomorrow to be printed and it sounds like we will be able to get on this material by providing them a website and some computer support. Sounds really good for both of us.
Just wanted to pass this along because although it is uncertain if actually being sponsored for one of these events has proven to be successful yet, eh hrm nova!! J/K I understand it is hard to track the success of something like this just giving you a hard time but anyways providing the site may open other opportunities for us e.g. some of the fight teams may want a site and also may give us access to a email newsletter.
Anyways, I will let you know how it all turns out.
