Oki C3300

I have a Oki C3300 and its reporting that the black toner is empty. My customer said that she just replaced it. Is there any way of testing the toner to see if it is
a new one. I dont have access to another toner to test to see if its the printer or the toner. I have tried cleaning the contacts where the toner goes but to no avail.

I'm not sure about that model, but you can print a config which will sometimes tell you info about the toner. Also you can see if there is a way to reset the toner from the config menu.
