Howdy, My computer is constantly acting up, but there is one thing that specifically needs to be resolved and I am asking for yall's help. My computer, every now and then, will crash displaying flickering rectangles. The computer is totally nonresposive. When the crash happened, I heard a noise comming from the computer like a short. The noise is only present for a split second and then the computer freezes with the flickering rectangles. The last instance this happened was when I was browsing Myspace videos. Also there was a black box with red text in it. I could only make out the last 4 letters: a m e l. The first one looked like an E or a B. I don't know if this is some kind of watermark or what not. Any help would be awesome. Thank you in advance!

Hey mate,
Can you provide some specs for your PC, this might help. Also, disconnect from the power supply and open the case, make sure your graphics card and your RAM are seated properly. If they are, it might be a PSU issue.
Do you have a POST card that you could try?
