I have a couple contacts that are in two different groups, I can't delete filled groups and I can delete one of them in one, without it being removed in the other. I just want them to show in one...

Delete them both and then add it back into the group you want. If you can't remember their email, copy and paste it.

I've done that several times, it shows up in both again.

make a new group move all to the new group delete old groups? also check your view settings
