Printing from Leopard to Windows shared printer

Hi,

I'm trying to get my new iMac to print to a Windows-shared Canon ip4000.
It was working fine in Tiger, but in the following happens in Leopard:

I go to add the printer, I select 'Windows' from the "Advanced" section.
The printer comes up, but when its time to select the driver, it is not listed.
If I attach the printer directly to the iMac, it picks it up and it installs no problems...
I've been googling, and still haven't been able to find a solution.
I've also tried CUPS, however, the same thing happens, the printer isn't listed in the list of drivers...

Did a lot of research to find a solution to this. The specs for my environment are: Inter iMac 24inch, 2.8Ghz, 3GB RAM, 10.5.1. Printer: Canon Pixma ip4000.
Connected to network via Airport to a Billion router.

The solution: install Gutenprint 5.0.2 - http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php3. I was then able to select the correct printer model from the list. Printed ok.
