Might sound like a silly question, and I'm probably being lazy.
But when you guys recover 'Documents and Settings' do you just dump the recovery on the clients desktop and lets them have at it,
or do you carefully put it all back where it belongs? Which what I tend to do. But when it comes to Identities and such, do you set them up again, or just leave the mail box on the desktop?

It doesn't take long to import outlook emails/address book and copy my documents to the correct folder, so yes I restore the files to the correct folders. It can be a bit annoying if the machine had say 5 user accounts :p

If the system has one or two accounts I'll do it the right way, anymore than that its down and dirty.

I agree with gunslinger here. If its one or two accounts no prob, if its more than that I tell them where I put it and offer a very basic tutorial on where the files are in those directories (maybe 40 seconds worth of talking.)

I was a bit tired at the time of posting.

Yeah, there are a half dozen accounts on the box.
I'll dump the husbands in the right place, along with is dbx's,
but the kids virus riddles rubbish is staying in a silo on the c drive.
