(Actually, I have a GV account from when it was GrandCentral but had to take a NY number... can't remember how I didn't get rejected 'cause I'd like to link a number to my regular address)

Gotta say, I am getting more annoyed by GV every day.

For being run by engineers, they do some stupid crap. Pressing "4" turns on call recording and plays a notice to both parties. Of course, you would never have to hit the number 4 during a regular call to a phone menu system.

Not even 15 minutes ago it failed to ring my second number (one is a home number, the other is a Cell, so I hear them both ring).

Back on the call recording, it still activates at random and Google offers no method to disable it.

I have been thinking about maybe switching to a different service. Then again, GV is free, so I can't complain too much. But trying to explain to a paying client that I have no need to record our conversations even though they hear I am constantly, can be embarrassing.
