Adobe flash player

For the life of me i can not seem to get Adobe Flash player to work on this machine. Anyone else have this issue and maybe a solution? :o

Specs:
Windows 7 64 bit
IE 8

Tried uninstalling flash, adjusted security settings to lower level, checked firewall settings....

Thanks J-Bob but no luck. Flash works great in firefox just not IE. Hopefully I will stumble across something on the Internet that works, maybe its towards the end :D

I had trouble with the Adobe's installer, too, but I uninstalled and ran the redistributable installer. Think I got it from FileHippo.com.

You can try installing it in "Program Files" rather than "Program Files (X86)" and see what happens? I'm not sure if this can be done but try it.

Make sure you uninstall first and then reinstall .

I needed to reinstall DirectX, after that everything worked fine. :D
