Hello Everyone,

i would like to learn how to build my own boot cd/dvd, and wanted to know if there are any real good documentation out there. i've read a couple but did not seem to help very much. does one need to have a good programming background? any help would greatly be appreciated.

thanks very much in advance!!!

learn to program to interact with different types of hardware. Its pretty advanced... take it a step at a time, dont jump to boot discs so soon...

Jump to bootdiscs? Creating boot discs is far easier than programming. There are point and click tools to create them. Simple sysmtes like cdshell for scripting up nice menus. PEBulder for mostly automating the work of making bootable windows environments.

Once you take a day to study it, you realize just how simple it actually is.
