In the past I went to a clients business and they were still using the old sliding credit card thingos (you know the old ones that you slide the thing over it and you get a carbon copy of the ccard).
Anyway, they had an assload of these carbon copies in their trash which they have processed. However they werent torn up or anything.
Anyone doing dumpster diving would have access to thousands of credit card numbers and their details.

Anyone else come across security issues which were scary that people could be so dumb?

One thing that I'm not worried about, but do feel is a very questionable action is how on school schedules, they list your name, DOB, address, and SSN. I just don't understand what they need all of that on your school schedule, especially with knowing how students lose things so easily.

Several people I know have expressed concerns recently over Internet banking. The news and other media are always running stories on how insecure the Internet is, but lets not forget that it beats the other methods of remote banking by a long shot.
