Need input on logo contest

Ok, I sponsored a logo contest on 99designs.com (found here, thanks!), and I got a lot of good designs (and a couple of bad ones).

Which ones do you think say professional but friendly?

(Sorry for the cut & paste, I'm still new to the forum so no links for me...)

And for those of you interested in having a logo designed, I paid the minimum entry of $204, then added an additional $25, and then guaranteed the contest (meaning one of the entries would definitely win, and you give up your money back guarantee). With that I got 47 designs from 18 designers. Not a bad deal considering the price quotes I've been getting from designers!

Some great looking logo's on there. I really like the #40 and #41, but feel as if I have seen that somewhere else...

Yep, Nichole has my vote: #40

Could someone please clue me in as to what #44 was going for? I tried cocking my head every which way, thinking there was some pattern I was missing, but I just can't see it. If there is one, I'll probably slap my forehead when I see it.

Definitely Nicholes stuff. :) I would have to say that #40 is an interpretive make-you-think type logo. :) It's a flag/puzzle piece/phone/ear logo.

I like 40. It's easier on the eyes than 41 for sure and it looks professional. To me it also has that Windows 7 looks to it as well... take that however you will.

I really like the logo and business card design on Tasa's #21 entry. I also Like #42 and #47. Any of those 3 would be a good pick.
