Just noticed this on PCWorld.com most popular downloads of the week rss:
PC De-Crapifier (can't post url). It removes most of the preinstalled trial-ware and other useless crap. Anyone using it?

Id hope Technibble members are using it, we've mentioned it in our Repair tool of the week (http://www.technibble.com/repair-tool-of-the-week-pc-decrapifier/) section and its part of our Computer Repair Utility Kit (http://www.technibble.com/computer-repair-utility-kit/)
Its a great piece of software. I get to use it occasionally onsite. If you find anything else good, keep recommending them. :)

PC De-Crapifier is one of those "must haves" I talk so much about. Along with the Norton removel tool it will take care of about 95% of the crapware that comes with a new PC.
Cool-looking tool, hadn't heard of it before, will defo be giving it a try.

ya its a must have for setting up a new machine to me its amazing that they manufactures let so much junk on there systems, vista ones being the worst!!
it bogs down a computer to the point where its unattractive to buy. i know it makes computers cheaper and all but really a lot of users don't even know how to disable it.

Removal of crap is one of the most popular services I offer. I have noticed on some new hp systems over 35 gigs of hard drive space is already being used right out of the box.
This is insane.
As a side note I have Windows XP Pro with 44 programs installed and I'm using only 5.1 gigs
