Hi
I need help in how to change or disable the password (user) for windows.
My password is not being accepted by windows at startup:confused:
I did not change the password and no one but me knows the password. I have tried more then 6x and the popup message that says 'did you forget your passoword, click the hint (?) button'. I tried bios but it only has password setup for the bios program only:eek: did not know that this is for the for the bios setup only now I'll have to remember the password as in case I need to access the bios in the future. is there any other way to resolve this without doing a reinstall. Thanks:D

Bryce thank you very much for the link. I followed the instructions, change the password and now I am able to access windows on startup. I am so grateful and that I wish I had come across this forum in the past. I am a member in other forums but not much help there. Once again thank you and merry christmas.
