View Full Version : Outlook calendar to Entourage

I've migrated this users email/accounts to Entourage from a Dell netbook running Outlook.
I've imported her contacts through a csv.
I've imported her email through dbxtract (painful but it worked)
The only thing remaining is her Outlook calendar
Is there an easy way to migrate an Outlook calendar to Entourage?
I was expecting to use gcal as the intermediary but it seems Entourage is a bit fussy and won't talk to gcal without third party software.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Never tried this (http://www.convertmyemail.com/outlook-to-entourage.php), but it looks good?

Try Outlook2Mac or O2M. Cheap and effective. As a Mac user, I found this very useful. We also use it in a corporate environment for the few users that use Macs.

Have you tried to official Microsoft tool?

PST Import Tool for Entourage (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.mspx?pid=Mactopia_AddTools&fid=9B95CFE2-EA2B-4088-AF2C-2FD497E2A6F8#viewer)

How is email setup on Outlook? If it's through Microsoft exchange, the calender should be stored on the server and when you configure the email account in Entourage to connect to the Exchange server, the calender should be downloaded automatically.

If your not on Microsoft Exchange. Go into Outlook and export the calender files as .ics (iCalender) file. Macs can read ics files.

A good way about working with microsoft products on PC/MAC is to look at where you can sync thing online.

For example here is a suggestion

1. Create a "fake" google/gmail account. This gives you google calendar.
2. Sync Outlook calendar with Google from PC:
3. Sync from Google to iCAL on mac

Sure these things sounds like a hustle but I find it MUCH faster then dealing with all these kind of conversion software available out there.
